I need to put a basket on this but I’ve never had a bike with these curvedish handles and there’s the swirl thing in the front Im not sure if that effects a basket? Or if I could hang one on the inside of the handles?

Without knowing the dimensions of the bike or bag, the concept looks like it will work.
But if that basket is taller than the bar to fender distance, you may be in trouble.
Also, I think that swirl thing is a spring suspension piece – pretty rad for a cruiser
It would work but your going to have to remove those reflectors from the front
