Did something similar with a 1997 Litespeed Vortex. It gives up very little compared to a modern bike. Great build.

Question: how deep are those rims? I also have a steel Colnago and am awaiting a delivery of some new 50mm rims. So I was wondering if yours were even deeper than that. They look amazing but they must be 60mm at least…
