In November 2023, we embarked on the adventure of our lives. A one year bicycle trip from Singapore to London.

This documentary is a glimpse into the most challenging, beautiful, and life-changing year. From the heat and humidity of Southeast Asia to the remote mountain passes of Central Asia, we faced it allβ€”tough climbs, freezing nights, relentless headwinds, and incredible kindness from strangers along the way.

It’s taken months to edit this video. Trying to condense a year of memories, thousands of clips, and endless stories into just an hour was nearly as tough as some of the climbs! There were so many moments we wanted to include, but we did our best to capture the struggles and the pure joy of life on the road.

  2. An excellent documentary that succeeds brilliantly in conveying the challenges, experiences and sheer joy of your remarkable 1-year adventure! Congratulations too on the impressive making and editing of so many videos – it is hard to believe that this was all done single-handedly. I can't wait until your next cycle-touring adventure!

  3. Being enthused by your epic adventure and video, I wondered if I might follow-up my earlier comments to ask if you would kindly share your thoughts and experiences on the following:

    1. Which was your favourite country to cycle-tour through?
    2. What were the top five highlights of your adventure? (I suspect that cycling the incredible Pamir Highway in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, and seeing the spectacular hot air balloon festival at Cappadocia in Turkey might rank as two of your top highlights?).
    3. If you cycled again from Singapore to London would you take the same route or a different route?
    4. Did you experience any difficulty in sourcing repairs to your bicycles when they happened (for example, in Kyrgyzstan when your derailleur broke)?
    5. Being vegans were there some areas where you could not find vegan food?
    6. How much did the whole year-long adventure cost you? (Sum of travel, food, accommodation and bike repairs).

Thank you for your further interesting insights and information!

  4. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure. What a gem of a video, cycling through Asia and Europe is on my bucket list and your video was so enjoyable and inspirational to watch – YT algorithm really something these days!
