Hello folks!
We're 2 French cyclists currently planning for a 10 to 12 days bikepacking trip in July from France (Calais) to the Netherlands (Amsterdam). We've established a first draft for our itinerary but we would like to gather your thoughts about it please 🙂 if you've done such a trip already or if you know these regions well please don't hesitate to comment on we're to ride, eat, sleep and maybe what to visit ? 🙂 manymany thanks in advance !

Any specific reason you’re skipping Zeeland? Those islands are quite nice.
The Netherlands has a great Long Distance Bicycle network called the LF routes.

[LF Coastal Route](https://www.nederlandfietsland.nl/fietsroute/lf-kustroute/)
This one is a route along the entire coast of The Netherlands and it’s simply amazing
I’d suggest going from Bruges to Sluis, which is a beautiful border village with a lot of restaurants, shops and great campgrounds. From there you head to Breskens and take the ferry to Vlissingen, which only takes 20 minutes, you can book these tickets online.
You can decide to take other ferries along the route which are really cheap or even free, or detour and skip them.
GPX can be found on the website.
Be ready for lots of wind! Although in my experience it mostly blows from southwest to northeast so this means tailwind in your trip! 🙂
The coast is also beautiful especially if it’s sunny.
Edit: I would skip Antwerp and just stick to Zeeland after Bruges.
It also seems like you’re skipping Leiden – to me it’s like a cute mini Amsterdam so you might enjoy visiting it!
think it’s already too late to visit Keukenhof (tulips fields)
