KHS Flite 500 for $400CAD

Looking to purchase first bike; Seller listed at $400CAD with the following description:

"Selling my KHS Flite 500 road bike. The bike has a carbon fork and is in good condition.

I’m around ~180cm so the frame should fit similar sized riders.

For an additional $50 I can also include a Kryptonite Evolution U-Lock & cable. Just let me know if you’d like that in addition."

Is this a good deal? Mainly want to get into cycling and possibly races in the far future. What should I ask about or look out for if purchasing? Also, I've looked at sizing guides online and at 173cm, would this be a good fit?
