After looking at your photos, my inquiry, is the saddle penticlip fitted fully onto the narrow top section of the seat post ? Ordinarily, when the saddle penticlip is fitted completely at the top of the seat post, there is approx. 1 cm of exposed narrow section between the penticlip and the seat post major diameter (as compared to approx. 2.5 cm of exposed narrow section in the photos).
