How bad is this crack? Leaving for a 500 mile bike touring/ bikepacking trip tomorrow. Just picked up the rental car to drive to the start. Was lubing my chain and noticed this crack in the tire. It runs all the way around both sides of both tires. Trip is all on roads but a lot of them are gravel and I'm sure there will be some chunky stuff. Should I just forget about the trip and replace these and try again another time or???

Are these tubeless? And are you bringing an extra couple of tubes? If so then you’ll probably be fine.
I wouldn’t cancel the trip. If it’s tubed, I would just get a fresh tire. Install will be cheap and only take about 15 minutes. If you are running tubeless, I still wouldn’t be worried. Both are an easy fix.
Tires look a little old. Probably should replace them, but I’ve sent worse for longer. You’ll probably be ok if you can’t get a new tire
