So I'm just wanting to get back to casual riding and not sure what bike to get. Most of my biking would be for work with some ups and downs and casual bike rides with not that much off road biking. I don't want to get the cheapest thing on the market like last time I did so the bike rides actually stay as something enjoyable instead of a struggle.

Roadlite 5 midstep L https://www.canyon.com/fi-fi/ale-polkupyora/kaupunky-ja-retkeily/roadlite-5-mid-step/3279.html?dwvar_3279_pv_rahmenfarbe=PK

Grand Canyon 5 L https://www.canyon.com/fi-fi/maastopyoeraet/trailpyoeraet/grand-canyon/grand-canyon/grand-canyon-5/3267.html?dwvar_3267_pv_rahmenfarbe=OG

One more that I've been looking at but ain't a Canyon is is Trek Fx-2 gen 4 https://pyoravarikko.fi/collections/kaupunki-ja-hybridipyorat/products/trek-fx-2-gen-4?variant=55136301678966

What are pros and cons with these bikes?

  1. I would opt for (and did opt for) The Roadlite 5. Ypu get a Deore 1×11 groupset and MT200 hydro brakes with a carbon fork.
The Grand Canyon will have mountain targeted gearing, so more about climbing than speed. I don’t think you will be happy with it out of the box.
The Trek has lower spec components (Tektro brakes, Cues U4000 1×9, etc)

Be sure to do a sizing exercise, the Canyon in a L is not the same as the Trek in an L,uless you go for the newer model Roadlite.
