foreign I didn’t film as much as I wanted to but I still filmed quite a lot so it’s going to be probably in a couple parts but this will be the first part so we like Landon in torana had a pretty chill transfer to the hotel and then got amongst it on the bike uh which was really good uh and then yeah I actually didn’t feel too bad um went to the cafe in Toronto which was nice all right so here we are first day in Albania uh just arrived went for a little trip to the supermarket an hour for a bike spin it’s this in an industrial estate so not ideal riding but pretty toasty feel all right um but yeah excited to have a couple days here Before the Race kicks off on Monday it’s Saturday now so today’s Spin and tomorrow and then we all good [Music] foreign [Music] then day two Woke up had breakfast which was like okay just had some cereal and uh some bread with chocolate spread which is classic food now being you for the vegans not top would not recommend uh going for the culinary cuisine as a vegan however is what it is it’s raised food we just gotta get on with it so I had brought most of my own stuff so that was okay went out for an hour right right two basically done three race ride I did a couple of minute efforts but all right some questionable roads one of Julie’s yeah dished out I’m better in now just got a couple Sprints to do and then we’re all good and uh yeah get the numbers tonight [Music] thank you [Music] all right the night time I can Albanian not to the one [Music] all right so here we are stage one it’s not looking good bro we’re trying to get to the start bar as you can see it’s quite a lot of traffic so uh police escort not doing bits for the boys and there’s a nice dual carriageway there but we’re not on that so yeah all right here we go police escort no stress indeed straight to the center of torana don’t get us in UK racing boys foreign [Music] six minute climb 8K in uh and then last 11k is uphill six percent average or something um so yeah half an hour line to end the stage so it should be pretty Mega how do I feel okay we’ll see um but yeah it’s been pretty decent had a nice nice ride into Tirana signed on all is good so yeah pretty pretty excited um we’ll be good to get stuck in so after stage one I would say the only way to describe was a disaster for myself so it was fine went over the first climb which was in a Motorway no stress kept with everyone else um descended rapid descent like 80k now I threw a tunnel for a bit which was good fun and it was just following moves it was all going fine like as a team we only had like four people so we were riding pretty well um and anyway I actually hit a pothole because I’m an idiot got a puncture then when I was chasing back on my disc rotor was robbing which was really stupid because I knew it was rubbing and uh one of guys helping was really good at mechanics and the next day I told him he like fixed it but I should have really taught in the day before so I was robbing some motor pacing was really hard and basically it was just really toughed out I was doing so many what’s trying to get back on um and then when I was finally getting back on I literally got to the car took a bowl did the J Vine went too much on the ball and then just stacked it and crashed I said 60 I looked at it it was like 49 50k an hour anyway not pleasant had to have stitches that evening which was real put down on it however teammate and general Legend uh Max demon won uh the stage it was a 20 minute 25 minute climb um and yay bad everyone in the Sprint which was big um so yeah we had the leaders jersey which was really good um man did about 6.2 for 26 minutes which was really strong and um yeah so kind of bad day for me personally lost 27 minutes was kind of like a bit annoyed that I didn’t really get to do you just see where I was on the climb but Max wants and no stress um and then yeah the next day uh we were all in to help him with the leaders jersey wow so here we are on start of stage two roughed out for myself yesterday and whacking on the paid minutes 60k an hour but we’re gonna pull it off yeah all right apparently my hand the boys won’t turn around anyway big man Max on the stage so no stress three up TTT today I reckon no worries H2 is done yet again I punctured wow it’s like I can’t look at potholes anyway we are we got back on no stress Max kept the leader’s Jersey big win pulled some turns wow and uh yeah a decent day out all around to be honest felt bad unexpected so um yeah we’ve got a little boy out trying to get a sword there to get an interview with a big man how’d it go yeah I think people are expecting any of them we’ve only got three lads we’re about to get scuzzed by this lad absolute weapon the king so stage two was actually pretty successful Road Pace on the on the first climb of the day uh and then three guys got away in the valley which was pretty good there’s quite a lot of attacks but eventually three guys got away we just rode Tempo like 250 260 on the front let them have a big gap and then started to reel it back kind of riding a bit harder um and then in the Crosswinds there was some excitement people tried to split it anyway it was all going well and then I hit a massive pothole like the biggest portal I’ve ever seen But double flat handlebars flew down I managed to get back on but after that could not do much and towards the end the Greeks who were very close on GC and had two guys out there they attacked almost got the Jersey but luckily Max slash Eugene and Carl managed to bring it back um so yeah that was pretty decent and actually on stage uh three sorry for stage two we managed to keep the Jersey again um so it was all good uh and a successful day out for velocious
