They look like the same old Red E1 levers that sponsored riders get w/ the big silver “SRAM” decal.

If they are electronic why do they even need new levers? Why not just update them to support one extra sprocket in software?

You spotted the “new” levers but didnt notice the new frameset running wider that 45c tyres……?
I doubt you’d have Lidl-Trek custom tuning a pile of 13sp r.der for road cassettes at the classics if this was near production.
