Finally wrapped up my Specialized Hardrock Comp build 1990 or ’91 (still not 100% sure on the year).

It took me two years to find a secondhand 90s MTB in my size (which is super hard to come by). When this one finally showed up, it looked like complete junk but I knew I had to buy it immediately. Then it took another year and a half to slowly build it up. Since I live abroad, this is the bike I ride whenever I’m back home.

Honestly, without this subreddit, I don’t think I’d have had the motivation or ideas to even start this project. Seeing everyone’s builds here every day kept me inspired and gave me the push to try something different and kind of weird in the best way.

Huge thanks to all of you who share your bikes here it might seem like just another post to you, but it really does inspire others (like me) to get out there and create something cool. Appreciate you all!
