New Bike

Chain looks to be loose, check condition and replace if needed. I would check crank/bottom bracket bearing condition while messing with the chain and also headset. Are the wheels sealed or unsealed? Basically, the bike going on 14 years old now, bearing condition should be checked all over. Tires looks like they should be good, check for cracks though. Check brake performance and adjust if needed. If ordering new bars, I would get some new grips while you are at it instead of trying to salvage what’s on the current bars.
