I’m super new to cycling and finally getting serious about picking up my first bike. I know it’s not the cheapest option for a beginner, but I’ve heard great things about Canyon and I really like how it looks. Just wondering if anyone has thoughts on it for someone just starting out?
Also, any beginner tips would be awesome—stuff you wish you knew when you started, gear I shouldn’t skip, basic maintenance, anything like that. Just trying to set myself up right.

study the difference between an all-rounder/lightweight/climbing bike like the ultimate and the aeroad
also of note is canyon’s endurance called the endurace. these bikes are more upright which is beginner friendly. the ultimate will have you a bit more stiff, a bit more leaned over and stretched out.
also with canyon go the extra mile to make sure you get the right size. do exact measurements.
