Just got a 12 speed direct from Brompton site but it’s missing an inner shift cable so it’s essentially a 3 speed. Normal?
Also found this metal piece at the bottom of the box. Anyone know where it goes?

The metal bit fits on the rear triangle, chain stay to protect the frame from the hook on the front wheel when it’s folded
