Never seen a hubless OSJW before. Total waste of money but now I want one.

Whoa, look closer and you’ll realize that is one seriously expensive setup. You’ve got not only the Absolute Black OSPW ($419), a matching color derailleur mount, Carbon Ti brake rotor (around $240), and then those Lightweight wheels, which depending on the model, are usually around $7-8k a set.
The gold chain is a nice touch though. I mean, at that point you kind of have to.

This is derailer equivalent of an ear spacer.

Without a doubt everyone will jump on the “they’re for .25W savings” but I’d argue that’s the least important function. Doesn’t help that’s what they market themselves as. They do tend to make for noticeably smoother shifting and in my experience has definitely mitigated shifting chunkiness when pushing out of spec configs. Like 11-34 on an RD 6700 for example with a much simpler oversized pulley, didn’t replace the cage. The kogel kolossos felt really good on an RD-RX810 with 11-40. The RX812 was backordered for over a year and I could get my hands on that right away.
Shifts incredibly smooth. But yeah, very minimal ROI with any of these here doodads

Looks like someone has a lot of disposable income with those jockey wheels and the Lightweight wheels!

But! But! Don’t the TT competitors tape all the holes in cranks, bolts, crevices between components to improve aerodynamics?
And here you are buying a 500€ componement with an enormous hole in the middle.
Don’t get me wrong, it looks cool, but this is hardly a performance upgrade.
