Second hand Canondale trail SL5 or Oldschool custom Orbea MTB?

Hey folks! Looking at this used MTB for my girlfriend (180 cm / 86 cm inseam). The goal is light trails, gravel rides, and bikepacking.

I'm a city commuter, so I’d really appreciate your MTB wisdom. Which would you go for?
