Ordered bike (Fuji absolute 2.1) from an out of town dealer. Everything was in excellent shape except for this one part. At first glance, I thought it was just the hanger for the derailleur, but now I see it was part of the frame. It’s too late to claim insurance on it. Is there a way to reconnect the derailleur and fix this? Thanks!

I don’t have this bike. But it looks a lot like you take the wheel off you can remove two bolts to get the hanger off? Something like this? https://bikeraider.com/product/derailleur-hanger-dropout-d025-for-fuji-absolute-cross-feather-finest-sl-sportif-transonic/
Its not actually apart of the frame, take a look at [This](https://www.amazon.com/KIEVODE-Derailleur-Absolute-Sportif-Specific/dp/B0C64NC4FG) Replacement. Pretty simple replacement if you have the tools on hand.
Your rear derailleur hanger is broken. You can use this website to find an appropriate replacement [RDH](https://derailleurhanger.com/)
It’s kind of hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like a derailleur hanger to me. It looks like there’s two small bolts holding it on, with the bolt heads on the inside. So if you take the wheel off you should be able to unscrew the hanger.
You can probably call the shop you bought it from and get a replacement, they’re pretty easy to swap. If they don’t have a replacement, it looks like Amazon has one.
Take the rear wheel out and you’ll see the bolts that attach the hanger. You need a new hanger.
Oh man! How’d you get the beans above the frank?
But yea, new hanger in your future.
