Hello – if anything, I hope this post provides you with a laugh!
I've recently purchased a Brompton G Line – I've been using it to cycle to work in UK and ofc general weekend trips – I've basically used Boris Bikes / Santander Cycles for the better part of 12 months so wanted a nice upgrade.
As I was getting used to the folding mechanism, the chain had fallen out, I think due to incorrect folding. This is my first bike since I've been a kid, so I spent a bit of time reattaching the chain and whatnot, following some guides.
This may sound really silly, but could someone please help and let me know if the cable sticking out in the photo is normal? I believe it's the gearing cable, but I am driving myself a bit crazy not remembering if it was there or not. it may be a placebo but I am noticing a bit more difficulty with cycling, despite only using Boris bikes for the better part of 12 months. It may just be getting used to smaller wheels, but happy to hear any suggestions or feedback.
Thank you!
