If you can find a 1x with the same PCD and 5 bolts, there’s always a chance you can fit a narrow wide, but your chain line might be a bit off.

Yes you can, it’s a 110mm five bolt chainring, mount it in the middle position and your chain line will be fine. You may need shorter bolts if you can’t do up those ones with only one ring on.

Yes! Get a 5-bolt NW chainring in a matching BCD (lots of indie companies do ones in cool colours for 90s MTB conversions e.g. Atelier Medium, Stridsland, Sumo) and put it in the middle chainring position for the best chainline across your cassette. Love those older Deore cranks, well worth keeping!
