1996 Trek 930 as a café cruiser

Got this bike for about 50 euro as a project to try out some wrenching skills. Until last year I never even replaced a tire.

– Maxxis DTH tires
– SKS fenders
– Koolstop pad
– Sunrace thumb shifters
– New chain & cables
– Ergotec handlebar
– ODI Vans waffle grips (they don't feel great)

I loved the process of thinking about which components might work best, both aesthetically as functionally. Didn't replace anything that wasn't necessary. Kept the 3x because it shifts and rides great! The Silent Clutch hub makes you feel like you're floating.

Too bad the frame is a tad small for me.
