  1. Possibly rubbing on the front derailleur? Does it go if you change to a lower gear?

  2. This weekend I met a guy and his bike made the same noise!

I think it comes from front delaireur? Put the bike upside down, spin the crank and try to pinpoint where the noise come from.

Check if the noise also happen when chain is not crossed, on different gear and observe is rear delaireur does twitch on any gear.

  3. The big clue is that the noise stops when you stop pedalling.

    Chain rubbing on the deralleur

  4. Chain is rubbing the front derailleur. It looks like you have electronic shifting so that front derailleur should be moving out of the way on its own. Is the battery dead/dying? Is the derailleur straight? Might need to reprogram the front derailleur

Typically side to side rubbing front derailleur would make a noise. Since it happens in all gears that tends to reduce this likelihood, as well as the less likely potential that the rubbing is on the top or bottom of the cage due to improper install or FD sliding on seat tube.

How about the chainring bolts (if any)?

The other thing I would check, since it’s the small ring only making this noise, is to increase the b screw since this could be pulley wheels making some kind of contact with cassette (culprit could be chain stretching to introduce this noise).
