This is not a negative review in the slightest, I have had my aeroe spider rack for about 4 years now and it has seen much abuse through all sorts of single track loaded with all kinds of gear. I have kept it under the weight guidelines (11 pounds per cradle, 33 pounds total) but often have been right around there. On a ride this weekend, after some particularly nasty hike a bike I was finally in a rideable rock garden and sent it down the hill. Well there ended up being a 3 foot vertical drop and it finally did in that cradle. Landed the drop fine but it was enough shock to crack the cradle. Still made it home without issue, was just a bit loose and janky looking. Will need to order another one eventually, but thankfully I have three, so most rides I should be fine for now.

Maybe you should rotate the ones you own around a bit. I imagine that one takes a bit of abuse.
I’d contact the company, they’ll love to hear how much use you’ve gotten out of yours. They might do you a solid.
