These are some photos of my travel from Amsterdam to China, Afghanistan edition.
It was a tough country to cycle in: I did not always feel safe and it was extremely warm in July, but on the other hand I enjoyed the hospitality of beautiful people there.

The photo of them repairing, what I assume is your bike, is incredible!
Interesting mate. I watched the section of that YouTube video of you in Afghanistan. It’s a place I would like to visit one day as well. When you say you didn’t always feel safe was it just due to the fighting you experienced in Kabul or also out on the road.
In other videos I have seen in Afghanistan, it generally appears that you need to interact pretty frequently with Taliban people to get around. I don’t know how confident I feel in that situation, being Australian and possibly running into Taliban fighters who might have directly faced the Australian army.
Did you also hear anything about the IS guys that apparently still operate in Afghanistan?
