I want to attach mudguards to my 1998ish cannondale, however, at the rear I have already used the only rack eyelet available for my carrier. I was looking at getting the Bluemels B65 26" mudguards.
Should I drill (aluminium frame)? Or what other options do I have (like fenders that attach with other means)?

I personally wouldn’t drill into my frame. The ass savers might an easier option.
zip tie a piece of plastic to your rear rack. I saw a guy using half a soda bottle like that.
I wouldn’t, it will be possible to mount a mudguard without drilling and would avoid the risk of cracking your frame. They might not be full length mudguards though.
Just use some washers and a nut (maybe a longer bolt too) and use the lower hole of the rack leg to mount the fenders.
