I popped my chain off for a cleaning and now, after trying to reinstall it, the tension pulley won’t drop down at all unless I force it. That’s causing my chain to rub against itself and it won’t shift.
What dumb mistake am I making?

B tension screw come undone?
The dumb mistake is thinking we can figure that out without posting a wider photo. If I had to guess, the chain isn’t on the front chainrings properly? Because it looks very slack in photo 2. But please just take a better photo
