1 Month (Ultra) light gear list

Hi! So the setup is not ultra light in all areas, sometimes just light. But for me it works, hopefully. Background to understand why I have a few more things with me, for example, in the clothes, is the upcoming route. We drive over 2000km and 4000hm through the complete Pyrenees and Western Alps, where we want to be prepared for quite a few weather differences. You can also find a picture of the route, plus my Komoot link from the route:

I tried my first ultra light sleeping bag last night. It’s rated -4c / 24 f. Then after that claim it says I may experience extreme discomfort and hypothermia. Amusing. Anyways i used it with my sleeping bag liner. I was warm but that mummy style sleeping bag felt very restricted. I got an XL sleeping bag previous that allows you to spread your legs like a lady of the night however it’s very bulky.

I am impressed at the ultra light size and weight however I wonder will it be something I get into in regards to other gear

Instead of packing 4 extra tubes, I’d just run tubeless. I’d also swap the brake pads beforehand, but that’s really peanuts. As for the black roll, you could probably just use a bottle for that.
Overall, the setup looks solid to me!

Edit: bringing a mech hanger (schaltauge) can’t be a bad idea.

  3. I’m a huge fan of the helmet! My girlfriend got the same one, and they’re so cheap yet have MIPS and look pretty cool. Like someone else mentioned, I wouldn’t bring four tubes either. Maybe one or two at most; you can still buy them along the way if needed. Or maybe get inner tube sealant if you don’t want to go through the process of changing tires and don’t mind the slightly extra rolling resistance. Also, you have to pack the saddlebag differently so the dry bag can properly fit into the harness. I have the same one, and you have to pack it narrow in the front and then wider.

Und Schaltauge auf englisch ist ein derailleur hanger. (:
Sieht nach eine echt coolen route aus. Wann plant ihr los zu fahren?
