New cranks = immediate improvement

Thanks to a suggestion made in this group that my cranks were too big (170 on a small frame), I did some research and looked into getting ones to at were better sized for me. Went to my local bike co-op and replaced it with 152 cranks, and replaced the cassette and chain which were also due for replacement. I can’t believe the 170s came standard on my bike. My partner has 170s on his XL bike. It’s definitely an added cost that I will factor in when considering buying any bike from now on.
