• swapped in a 44t chainring (thanks to folks here for the recommendation)
• switched to MKS Promenade Ezy Brass rinko style pedals
One more thing to do before June: wax the chain.

The MKS pedals are super nice. I’ve had mine for over 10 years now 🙂
Just missed out on buying a raw lacquer similar to this. Crying a bit when seeing this – both inside and outside. What a fine bike 🙂
