Wonder if there are any benefits of the new SP0095 seat post on the updated ultimate?
I’m assuming Canyon will eventually sell this and be able to fit it to 2024/25 ultimate that I just bought?? With SP0064

I think this is the seat post I have on my Grail. I like the look of this one way more than the two piece flexi post they have on other models. Also I like the D shape because the saddle will be perfectly straight as soon as its on (minor issue though since you don’t adjust very often).
Giant also makes a D shaped seat post and says it has better vibration absorption than a round one.
I think this is all about saddle clamp design (maybe seatpost profile will be different to), witch I have on my Aeroad and I think it is pretty awesome, centrally the best I have seen so far. You can adjust saddle tilt and setback independently it has not sliped so far, so for me this is good change.
