After reading all the rave reviews about the 5.10 Sleuth I took the plunge and ordered a pair online (no locals carried them or other flats in my size).
The place I ordered them doesn't do returns and now I appear to be SOL with pair of too large flats. :/
They look and feel nice except they are a full size too large! Seriously, they are an inch larger than all my other size 8 shoes. All my other other shoes are women's size 8 and fit fine, be it runners, cycling, or sandals.
Has anyone else run into this? Is this common with 5.10s?
On the box it says US8 FR40 … except US8 is an EU39! So, they are literally a size too large if going by the FR/EU size and are not US8.

this is why i always go by eu sizing or cm measurement lol… american sizing is not straightforward whatsoever.
Could you have ordered a men’s size 8 by mistake?
