Got my first brompton. What a blast. Can’t wait to take this thing with me everywhere and never be without a bike…
Thanks to everyone in the other thread who gave advice and what to look for when buying used.
This thing is mint condition and I got it for $900. The person I bought it from was very nice and showed me how it all worked/folded up and then offered to let me test ride her T line 12 speed she had gotten to replace this one she sold me.

Some questions for the community: Is there a min/max insertion point for the seat post? The seat post fits me but at basically maximum length.
Also any suggestions for some mid rise bars that fit well while the bike is folded? This setup is just the tiniest bit too short for me and I’d rather not replace the stem unless I have to. I’m fine with running new cables if needed shouldn’t be an issue.
Check out Joseph Kousac handlebars via their web fitting chart.
The Joseph Kousac web page has a JK handlebar compatibility chart for Brompton’s three stems.

For extra ground clearance, a rack with larger wheels, such 80mm diameter wheels, can help with folded ground clearance.
Wow what a steal! As a fellow tall rider I bought the seatpost extender just to give myself a couple extra inches of height. I do wish the handlebars were a tad higher (I have the M handlebars and I’m 6ft2) but the portability more than makes up for it. Welcome to the fold!
