It’s so insane that this is legal in America. Same with the rolling full stop thing

I’ve noticed more and more ‘no right turn’ signs appearing in my city – quickly followed by Car drivers absolutely ignoring the shit out of them.
I think the problem in my city is, that it’s not applied on ALL signals. It’s that kind of rule that needs to be a blanket rule that covers all situations – when you cherry pick where to apply them, and where not to, it does cause genuine confusion to drivers, especially if it’s not announced and just one day there is a sign up there – anyone who drives that road every day is not going to check for a sign because ‘its always been like that’.
Anyway, I am in support of banning right turns on red. But make it apply everywhere on the same day, and run a months-long citizen awareness campaign so people actually know it’s going to happen.

How much CO2 will the increased idling and increased traffic from this proposal emit? Let’s just ban cars instead.

First time seeing this sub. You’re as delusional as I expected

Makes sense! But it doesn’t mean shit without enforcement. Likewise the speed limit on the majority of my city’s roads is 25MPH and nobody’s going anywhere close to that.

We don’t have that here in Montreal and it’s great.

Why, so a bunch of entitled bikers can get the right of way?
