I can’t see pictures of the inside of dropouts with my searching on google but I have feeling this isn’t what it’s meant to be like…do I have the wrong size hanger? As in, the black hanger isn’t flush with the dropouts so i’m thinking the QR axle and wheel isn’t sitting properly.
I’ve been wondering why my rear wheel wasn’t aligned for some time and only just saw it…
My rear triangle is ok (did the string test) and my wheel is trued, dished and tyre is seated properly. My frame is alloy.

If the axle sits in the dropout properly I would probably ride it. I also think your dropout looks really worn, someone clearly rode it with a loose qr which might be a contributing factor to the size difference.
