[Music] Well, Uno X and and Jacob have done a really good job at defending this front position inside. 2 km to go. Coffee is starting to come to the front now. They’ve had a number of riders in this group. Not an out and out spreader, but they’re going to try something pushing forward now. Katanio, he’s washed away from the front. Still in control. Uno X Magnus C just on the wheel of his teammate. Michael Matthews still there. And this a critical part of the race as it starts to get more intense coming towards those last couple of corners. You have to fight for your position. Elbows out, shoulders wide, forced your way. Matthews has been pushed back. He’s off the wheel of Magnus Court at the moment. One of the riders from Coffford has got his way in between. Looks like a Stfano Aldani. A man who’s won a stage in the Jurro in the past has got his way in front of Michael Matthews. He needs to reclaim that wheel. Magnus Court is likely to go long. And if you’re not in the wheel, you will not get over the top of him. So it’s Uno X. Coffidus looks like Aldani Mark Hersi is in the wheel of Michael Matthews coming forward. The two men from EF Education. Valgren with Powless trying to come forward. Baronetsia from Moistar moving up onto the wheel of Michael Matthews. One kilometer to go. The road narrows. It twists. It turns. Still Uno X on the front. Extended leader. Hershey’s got himself up onto the wheel of Magnus caught now. There’s Vulgrren Palace behind him. Michael Matthews pushed away. He’s in sixth wheel around the corner. He needs to get back on the wheel. Magnus caught in perfect position. Final straight now. The road slings its way. The first Uno X rider. Dvasnes looks over the shoulder. Court tells him to wind it up. Court now laying off the wheel. Gives the length to his teammate. Hershey’s forced himself into the wheel of Mongus Court. No, Matthews is back there. Matthews has got the elbows out and he’s back in the wheel of Mongus Court. Final acceleration cut the inside. Matthews goes early. So does Court shoulderto-shoulder. Both go at the same time. Matthews now hits the front. The Australian from Jac Alula, Michael Matthews takes victory in Frankfurt. Caught in second, but what an execution of the plan. Matthews and his team ripped the race apart on the Felberg and then put him in position and he fought for it. He got on the right wheel of Magnus Cord at the finish and he blasted up along the barriers, rode his own sprint and he made it happen. What a ride from Michael Matthews. Terrific result from Michael Matthews. He’s looked so confident all day, Robbie. He looked confident at the start. The team 100% behind plan A. They didn’t have a plan B. Everything in from Michael Matthews has been all day. Um, and it’s it’s paid off. Oh, paid off in spades. Matthew, you can see how pleased he is bouncing that front wheel. He’s been so close so many times early this season. He doesn’t get a whole lot of wins a season, but he gets some really good quality ones. And that was a perfectly executed race by Jo Alula and Michael Matthews. Magnus Court with Yizuno X team. They did everything they needed to do. The lead out was there. Magnus caught. He jumped early, but Matthews had gone at the same time. He didn’t let himself get surprised. And importantly, Matthews didn’t let himself get boxed in. It’s a tricky finish. It slings left and right. It gets narrow. But Matthews, he did everything he needed to do when he needed to do it. Got himself a little out of position coming into the final 500 meters, but worked his way forwards again, and he just had the power to get the job done. I thought he was in trouble. A couple hundred meters to go. I thought he was going to get him getting himself boxed against the barrier. It’s one of those bits where you see someone going for a gap, you think, is there absolutely a gap there? And well, you know, he knows more about it than I do, but it was it it was a bit squeaky for for a few meters. Then that left last left-hander, he got himself well out of position. Yeah, he got himself in about sixth or seventh wheel, just managed to slide his way forwards, get back onto the right wheel, and reward for Michael Matthews and his team. That’s a brilliant win by the Aussie.
