As you can see in the photo, the brake cable broke, so I only had the coaster brake for myself and all the extra weight – it was awful.
Fortunately my route was relatively short.
Nice. This was me last night. Elastic cargo nets and s-clips are your best friend, I always keep them on my bike.

Looks to me like you already have a cargo bike. What you need is a bigger cargo bike.
