TLDR: LBS repaired rear free hub and it came back with this awful squealing sound when coasting at higher speeds.
Excuse the wind noise. Got my bike back from the shop (Aussie chain store) after some small issues with the rear free hub making unusual intermittent buzz rather than consistent buzz. They said a spring was a bit out of place but were otherwise mystified by the issue. Got it back and test ride it on local paved paths a couple times. Coasting at speed (20+ km/h) and now it has this awful loud squealing sound. It never happened before I took it to the shop. Warranty runs out in 2 weeks so I will ask for a claim, but what the heck is happening? Model is Shimano XT FH-M8110 12 speed and it’s almost a year old. Has been flawless before this. So frustrating! Thanks everyone!

I’m guessing they didn’t actually fix anything and possibly dislodged more pawls/springs. It definitely sounds like something is grinding/slipping in there. Take it back to the shop and try to warranty.
That hub is not fixed at all. You need to not ride that in till it’s fixed or replaced. You should have constant sound from the hub when not pedaling for a good indication and that wasn’t doing that in the video.
Sound is good… no sound is bad when coming from a free body. Unless you got onyx vespers then you want no sound coming from those expensive beast
