I love the bike, but gotta say that the fact that the stock rollers don’t really … well … roll . . . is kinda bs.

Do that all the time In larger stores eg. Costco!
I always have an emergency blue IKEA bag in case I overload my basket, I have the electric basket bag. Many times though I can put the rain cover on the basket and it’ll hold in the overloaded items.
I do carry a handheld scale so I can make sure I don’t overload the electric basket bag. 22 pound Max, including the bag.
