I know a lot of you young guys are looking at the top bars and saying.. “those are for children!” No! Their not lol. They are Haro Knee saver Bars. They were super popular back in the mid school era(I know I know, I’m old.) still love the style but as the title says..
My back started to hurt.. thought I should upgrade to taller bars. If I hated it.. I could just return them. HA! I LOVE THEM! They are amazing! When I first heard of 10inch tall bars, I thought the idea was absolutely ridiculous.. now I wouldn’t ride without tall bars!
Just wanted to post this for the older guys on here.. don’t be a prisoner to your past. Try out new parts. Be open minded! I know some of us older guys are stuck in our ways and think we know it all but we can learn a lot from the young lions of today. Be safe and keep riding.

I’m 6’2 and quite like the look of short, small bars. Old Chris Doyle footage prime example. But I run 10s too, my back hurts and I’m 18
I wanted a pair of bars similar to the knee savers (I don’t remember what they were tho) so bad when I was a teenager lol. I miss that look but I still run at least 9 inch 4 piece bars now as a tribute to that look I guess lol.
Edit: they were the Hoffman 8 piece bars… lol
What are those, bars for ants? /s
I know what haro kneesavers are- some of my favorite looking bars ever. So sick on a period correct bike.
I hate the look of four piece bars. But every time I ride a homies bike with four piece bars they feel so good. I might have to convert.
I’ve always wanted to get my hands on a Knee Saver. Maybe my back is conspiring against it.
