I use my garmin watch and it feeds things to Strava too.

However if I were just looking at phone apps I would use trailforks, and I think it is worth paying for (I do). Many will disagree and say everything should be free but w/e.

  2. I have Huawei GT5 watch that feeds data into Strava, the Huawei health app also records the data at the same time giving an alternative look at data/statistics, the two together compliment well for tracking my activity and fitness.

I do pay for Strava though, the free version is fine for basic tracking of your rides but most of the features are limited. For me the maps features to find new trails isn’t all that important so I can’t say how Strava compares to others for finding trails, but literally everything I ride has named segments within the map and it’s easy to create a route for a longer ride.

Strava’s the go-to for most riders I know. The free version tracks your rides and gives good stats, but premium adds route building and heatmaps. The social aspect is killer too.
