So, I’m looking to buy a bike for the coming year, and resell when I move again.
Came across this bike for $1500, seems well maintained without any notable marks. Might get that down a few bucks if it turns out chain/casette/brakes etc. need a tune up.
Would you reckon $1500 is a decent price? It’s the right size, looking to do only road. However, going to also ride hills (Bay Area, CA), where rim brakes might be a little less ideal.
It seems to me like this could be a decent deal in the current market for a relatively recent Ultegra setup.
I’m interested in reading your thoughts!

Rim brakes being less ideal is understatement imo.
And price of bike is high but not overpriced (based on prices in my country, it might be different in yours). But that being said I personally would never pay this much for rim break bike.
I would suggest you to look for lower tier disc break bike.
I think its al lot of money for a non-Di2 rim brake bike with alu wheels.
You can buy a new one on the Cannon website for $ 2400 with disc brakes . Brand New .
I have a 2022 cf sl 8 to sell. 😉
i had the exact same bike until this year and i would never pay 1500usd used for it.
