Enduro expert 2021 lightly used 2250usd or s
trek slash gen 9 2024 new 2800usd
Both of those bikes are from local bike reseller, no warranty.

Things that bother me on Enduro expert – carbon rims(im fat 🤣) and fox float x2 bomb

Things that bother me on Slash – this high pivot machinery and wireless shifting(never tried, but im not electric non warranty fan).

I really appreciate any feedback!

  1. While I never owned any I hear thee carbon rims are way stronger than alloy and if you ever brake them you can replace them with the ones you would if you had alloy rims to begin with. Side note some companies like RaceFace offer free crash replacements. The direct mount T-Type drive trains I also hear are infinitely better than hangar mounted eagle or Shimano so there is that going for the Trek, in my opinion it also looks better than the Enduro too. Mind you I have not ridden many bikes but I have heard a lot of other peoples opinions and that is what I know.

  2. well, i would go for the enduro xpert, cause i prefer fox susp and mechanical shifters also i heard that fox float 2022 are problematic if u get the trek be ready to purchase additional batteries and manage them, to not end at the middle of the trail with single speed bike
