Looking to get my first bike and have no idea what too look for, have a budget of around $1500 and this is really the only appealing once I’ve seen so far, please let me know if this is worth it or what other bikes I should be looking at. Thanks!

No, that bike is about 12 years old. For $1300 you can get something much newer.
Due to the age, no. But an 11 speed carbon frame is nice. Although I’d recommend trying to get smth w disc brakes if possible.
