My G line finally arrived from a very reputable Brompton dealer, and the hub seems way noisier than I recall it being during my test rides! Does it seem like something is amiss or is this actually normal? (Maybe I was just in a noisier environment during the test rides?). I’m still waiting to hear back from the dealer…

That’s how my c line sounds like, but let’s wait what others say.
Not normal in my experience; there shouldn’t be any noise from the hub while riding in a steady state. Your hub gear probably needs minor adjustment to ensure the internal gears are meshing properly.
Shimano Alfine is one of the most silent hub I have ever ridden vs Sturmey Archer Brompton 3s , SA 5, Sram Spectro 7 and Nexus 7. something isnt right, maybe the chain isn’t perfectly aligned?
Not normal. There is very little noise from the Alphine hub in my experience. Literally almost none. Something’s not right. First make sure your hub is properly indexed, otherwise I’d have it looked at.
I have G line and does not make that noise while pedaling.
I have feeling that sounds like the tire is rubbing some cable.
