On a reasonably smooth road, you should be able to survive 420km if you have to. I’ve gone longer than I’d like to admit on multiple broken spokes. Just don’t be surprised if it totally comes apart. Be really careful about potholes, and try to avoid bad gravel or dirt roads if you can. One broken spoke can turn into 3 real fast, ask me how I know

  2. Looks like imminent failure to me. If I was in Europe and the next town was 5km away I’d risk it all the way until I could find a suitable replacement. In Mexico, no way in hell. Replace immediately IMO. Maybe you could get Decathlon to fedex you a replacement. I know, dreaming.

  3. If I was caught by this I would loosen my spokes and then ride to the nearest bike shop to get a new rim and rebuild. I had mavic rims that did this in the early 00’s , they just cracked to pieces like eggshell. Really not cool. There was a bad batch of aluminium alloy that “air hardened” till it was very brittle. This looks exactly the same. No ideal.

    Good luck !
