Just want opinions. I have a 44t in the front and 12-25 in the back. Def not a traditional setup.. everything shifts well, just curious since it’s such a small range cassette.
It looks like it might be just fine. If it’s shifting without issue, it’s probably fine to leave it like that. I’d rather have a chain just long enough to fit than too long, but then I prefer a 1-by setup with a wide range cassette, so it’s pretty important that the cage swing as far as possible for the upper jockey wheel to clear the low gear. For a cassette like this, I imagine as long as it doesn’t go loose at the high gear and doesn’t bend the derailleur out of shape when you try to shift into low gear, it’s probably fine.
