I’m a little unsure of what the issue is. I did have the bike in and out of the car before this happened, but I experienced skipping of the chain yesterday while I was out on a ride, and it happened 3 times. It’s never happened previously.
I don’t think there is any bending in the derailleur, so my next thought is the cassette itself, which is 4,900km (3,055 miles) old.
Can anyone have a look at tell me if they think the cassette is worn and needs replacement?

By the looks of that cassette it’s well worn and most definitely needs replacing
Bent hanger. You can see it in the first picture.
Those smallest cogs wear out the fastest. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if all you need is a new cog.
In all honesty, it’s probably both. In the first picture, the derailleur is at an odd angle, indicating a bent derailleur hanger. 3,000 miles on a cassette is not an incredible distance, but if you ride in wet conditions or don’t take good care of your chain, it could be worn. However, it’s very rare that anyone rides in the 11-tooth sprocket to wear that one out first.
Fix the hanger, then see how the gears are.
