Just picked up my bike (550 miles) from my LBS after its complimentary first tuneup. I made note of a slight clicking sensation when pedaling but no other issues.

I took off the chain today to size a new one for waxing, but can feel/hear the crank rubbing when the right side is at 6 o’clock.

Based on what I read the crank isn’t supposed to spin freely and resistance is normal. But the resistance on my bike is at a specific location.

My LBS says I can bring the bike back for them to look at it, but is this something relatively straightforward for me to tackle? Or is this normal? It’s a bit of a hassle making two round trips to the LBS for drop off and pickup, so I’d prefer to spend that time learning how to resolve myself.

Thank you!
