I recently posted a Jamis aurora elite for $800. I was so torn between these two bikes. I ended up just liking how this one rode better. It’s a Bruce Gordon “BLT”, basic loaded touring. This was a bike out of the owners personal collection to sell. I’m going to be honest, it came down to the color. I liked the color of this bike better… it had a deore dx derailleur, but was a little worn out so they swapped to a Shimanofor free.

Bold of you to come begging for forgiveness.

Granted everything fits, I would have definitely taken a BLT over a Jamis if only because I’ve never actually seen one in the wild. Cool bike!

  2. My 1993 Bruce Gordon has carried me on some great adventures and is still going strong. Lake Superior is set for this summer! Bruce was one of a kind, and made great bikes. They’re solidly “vintage” nowadays but you’re unlikely ever to find anything that rides better under load. Congratulations!

  3. Is it some legendary vintage hybrid bike? I don’t get it.

Edit: Ah, titanium Touring Bike – hence the price. It is just missing racks. And handmande by Bruce Gordon.
