Hi everyone,
Canyon released new Endurace models yesterday. I compared the following two:

→ with aluminum wheels (27.5 inches in 3XS)
→ 1 1/4" fork
→ 8.6 kg due to the heavier wheels
€2,999

→ with carbon wheels (also 27.5 inches in 3XS)
→ 1 1/8" fork
→ 8.16 kg due to lighter wheels
€3,199
Available between August and November
I don't understand Canyon’s pricing strategy. Just €200 more for carbon wheels and a standard fork size?
Since I might have to swap the cockpit for a two-piece setup, I wouldn’t have many stem options with a 1 1/4" fork.
How would you decide?
And do you know if the wheels of the 2999 Euro bike are for tubeless use?

Be careful. I noticed that these two bikes, although they’re the same model, have different frame geometry. Pay attention to the top tube length — in my case (size XL), it differs by almost 2 cm. I have no idea what this nonsense is or why it’s not clearly highlighted anywhere. The seat tube angle is also different
