Hi all – I am looking to purchase my first road bike to start training for a triathlon. I am 5’11 so I think the size should be okay. Seller is asking $750, is this a good deal?

Description from the seller:

A road bike I bought second hand. It is a very light bike, weighed about 20 lbs. From taking a few measurements I believe it is a 54cm frame, although there is no indication of size on the frame. Full carbon fork.

The bike is scuffed and scratched, and has a minor dent, all pictured in the last photos.

The seat and the pedals are NOT stock.

Idk if I’d pay that for an alloy frame that’s already been through 2 owners but that’s just me

I would say no personally, if it was carbon, yes at like 350-500 range. Also not disks which I would prefer.

With a dent and the damage, I would say this is largely unspectacular and it’s worth holding out for something better.
